Art Of The Catch | The Todd Kline Story

Introducing Todd Kline – Grundéns Ambassador, pro angler, former pro surfer, and loving father residing in San Clemente, CA. Todd was born and raised in South Florida where he developed a strong passion for fishing as a kid. As the teenage years approached, a new passion took over in the form of surfing and at the age of 18 Todd migrated this fervor into a full-blown profession. He made a living surfing for seven years, competing around the world and achieving four World Qualifying Event wins. He then parlayed his surfing career into a marketing profession with his current sponsor at the time, Quiksilver, and rode that wave for 17 years finishing up as a Director. He now commentates for the broadcasts of World Surf League Championship Tour events. Todd’s affinity for fishing, particularly Bass, lead him to a career as a professional angler on the FLW circuit where he currently competes today. When not on the road Todd spends much of his time being a positive role model for his son, highlighting the importance of education and inspiring him to be the best person he can be. Todd lives by a simple creed – always have fun, make sure the people around you are having fun, and give thanks to Jesus every day.
